I’m Akira. I grew up in San Diego and now am a 3rd year at the University of California, San Diego. I am majoring in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design & Interaction with a minor in Japanese.
Growing up, my passion has always been towards creating. It started with LEGOs, then to architecture models, then to crocheting, then into creating games in Scratch, then into wood working, then into blacksmithing, then to bladesmithing, then into product design. So, creating has always been a part of my life from all types of mediums.
I would want to learn more and really test the limits of what design can be. I want to create for a positive impact!
